Broadband Technician
Red Cloud, Nebraska

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to fill the position of Broadband Technician in Red Cloud, Nebraska. One to three years telephone, cable TV, and internet installation and maintenance experience desired. Telecommunications or electronics degree preferred. Must have knowledge of basic electronics, cable color code, test equipment, computers, key systems, and DSL modems. Successful candidates must also have the ability to interpret staking sheets, maps, work orders, and cable counts, and splice cable as needed including fiber. Experience with construction equipment and tools, including trenchers and backhoes, is a plus. Excellent communication and customer relation skills are a must. Must possess a valid driver's license, CDL license preferred, and the ability to dig ditches, climb ladders and poles, and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Payroll Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Payroll Associate.

Duties include:
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll
Process required tax and payroll filings
Assist with internal management reporting and analysis

Knowledge of accounting principles and payroll tax regulations is a must. Successful candidate must have strong computer skills, experience with Excel, written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work independently and problem solve. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience is desired. Three to five years payroll experience is required. Payroll certification (CPP) helpful but not required. Carrier Sales - Network Services
Blair, Nebraska

We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to fill the position of Carrier Sales - Network Services.

Duties include:
Building, maintaining, and coordinating company relationship with carrier customers.
Developing new customer base and sales opportunities among carriers, wireless carriers, resellers, and agents.
Presenting solutions to customers in all product areas by maintaining a detailed knowledge of company fiber network, and products and services.
Serving as a technical resource to assess customer requirements, and designing network and technical solutions for particular customer needs.
Negotiating customer contracts.
Working with the customer from cold calls, to submitting quotes, to delivering service.
Ensuring that post-sale implementation occurs effectively, and that the customer is satisfied in all respects at all times with the services purchased.
Maintaining a database of targeted customers, their needs, and time frames.
Regularly making presentations to clients concerning all aspects of company services.
Maintaining regular contact with customers, both face-to-face and through e-mail/telephone.
Working closely with the Network Services Manager and CEO to determine, develop, and grow the company sales channel.
Developing price methodologies for the wholesale market and ensuring that appropriate data is captured and analyzed to create success in the marketplace.
Working with other business units to give sales leads when appropriate.

Associate's degree in business plus 5 to 7 years telecommunications sales experience desired. Experience working with local and national carriers and wholesale experience is a plus.

Successful candidate must have strong public relations skills, time management skills, and written and verbal communications skills. Must also possess the ability to think strategically and to work effectively with a diverse group of co-workers and customers. A working understanding of telephony, long distance, analog and digital CATV, Internet, Ethernet, and business systems is desired. Must be able to travel up to 40% of each month.

CONSTRUCTION LABORERS

Great Plains Underground Construction, based in Creighton, Nebraska, is looking for laborers to install communication and utility infrastructures. Must be able to operate construction equipment and tools, including trenchers, backhoes, skid loaders, tractors, and trucks. Must also be able to dig and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Valid driver's license is a must. CDL license required after 6 months of service. Various work hours and weekly travel required. Overnight travel expenses paid.
