Tax & Property Accounting Manager
Blair, Nebraska

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage our corporate tax and property accounting functions.

- Managing tax reporting for company and subsidiaries, including federal/state income taxes, sales/use taxes, personal property taxes, real estate taxes, payroll taxes and city, county and state taxes.
- Preparing tax estimates and making all tax payments in a timely manner to the appropriate agencies.
- Managing tax credit programs and coordinating with state for compliance, reporting and audit requirements.
- Coordinating tax planning and strategy meetings between outside accountants/consultants and management.
- Summarizing and informing management of changes in tax laws and regulations that affect the company.

One to three years telephone, cable TV, and internet installation and maintenance experience desired. Telecommunications or electronics degree preferred. Manager of Regional Carrier Sales

We are looking for a proven leader, network strategist and high-energy technical sales and telecommunications business development professional to fill the position of Manager of Regional Carrier Sales.

Successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of success with:
Building, maintaining, and coordinating company relationship with carrier customers.
New Business Development for a brand new customer base and sales opportunities among carriers, wireless carriers, resellers, and agents.
Presenting solutions to customers in all product areas by maintaining a detailed knowledge of company fiber network, and products and services.
Serving as a technical resource to assess customer requirements, and designing network and technical solutions for particular customer needs.
Negotiating customer contracts.
Working with the customer from cold calls, to submitting quotes, to delivering service.
Preparing and providing presentations to individuals and groups.
Ensuring that post-sale implementation occurs effectively, and that the customer is satisfied in all respects at all times with the services purchased.

Creating the business development strategy for company's carrier services business, and influencing and persuading internal stakeholders accordingly.
Determining investment strategy and capital needs in relation to carrier service opportunities.
Responsible for profitability, revenue and margins of wholesale and carrier services.
Developing the span and scope of carrier services activities from a business development perspective.
Maintaining a senior relationship with all major partners and contacts in the carrier and wholesale services area.
Acting as a thought leader and subject matter expert on all aspects of carrier services and wholesale, including issues of strategic importance.

Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years telecommunications sales experience with an emphasis on carrier relationship, negotiations, revenue generation, and team leadership is desired. Experience working with local, regional, and national carriers including state-wide networks plus wholesale experience is preferred.

Successful candidate must have strong public relations skills, time management skills, written and verbal communications skills, and overall business acumen. Must also possess the ability to think strategically and to work effectively with a diverse group of co-workers and customers. A working understanding of telephony, networks, telecommunications carriers, Ethernet transport and business systems is desired. Must be able to travel up to 40% of each month.
