The Great Plains Community Development fund offers our service communities an opportunity to apply for special funding for a variety of projects and causes. These are some of the projects that would qualify:
- Community beautification projects
- Research projects that look into key development issues including housing, infrastructure, population trends and workforce
- Job creating projects
- Community and economic development leadership programs
- Creation and support of active economic development organizations
- Development of community, county or regional Informational Task Force focusing on technology education and the impact technology has on the community, county or region
- Web page development for communities, counties and regions
- Tourism projects
