E-Mail Hoax - Outback Steakhouse E-mail Hoax - Don't Fall For This One!
Some of you may have received an e-mail from a friend which encourages you to forward a message regarding the restaurant, Outback Steakhouse. As a reward, you'd not only earn money for
forwarding the e-mail to your friends, but would receive a $25 Outback Steakhouse Gift Certificate if you immediately forwarded the e-mail to fifteen of your friends.
This e-mail is a hoax. Do not forward the e-mail to your friends if you receive it, and encourage your friends to do likewise.
The e-mail appears in your inbox as outlined below...
Body of E-mail:
"We have rented an email tracker for the next 3 months.
We at RH Power Inc. want to see how many people our email can reach in this time!
If you forward this mail, you will be PAID MONEY! ! ! ! This email must be sent immediately upon receiving this for it to be counted.
For every person you send this to you will receive $413! For every person they send this to you will receive $139.
I too (Ryan LaGrange, Head Marketing Manager), thought this was a hoax until I did some of this and the next month got a check for $4612 in the mail!
Bonus
IF YOU SEND THIS TO AT LEAST 15 PEOPLE RIGHT AWAY, A $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE WILL POP ON YOUR SCREEN TO PRINT OUT. Gotta try it just for the $25 gift certificate!

Ask The Help Desk - When Was Web Page Last Updated?
Question:
Is there a way to find out when a website was last updated?
Answer: Yes, there is. This is especially important if you are visiting stock market sites, news-related web pages or other time sensitive websites. To find out the last time a web page was updated, go to the page and type the following into
address bar replacing the site's web address:
javascript:alert(document.lastModified)
A box pops up telling you the date and time of the last update. Go ahead and give it a try. Pretty neat, huh?

Short Tutorial - Taking Control of Your History
The "History" button on your web browser allows you to easily return to web pages you've recently visited. The number of days a web page is stored in the History File of your web browser is determined by you. To access the list of recently visited web pages, click on the "History" button on your browser's Tool Bar and a list of recently visited web pages will appear in a window pane on the left side of your browser. You can delete individual pages from your History list by selecting them in the History Pane and hitting the delete ("del") key. To change the number of days your pages will be stored in History, go to the Tools Menu located on your browser's Menu Bar and select "Internet Options." Click on the "General Tab" and find "History." From here you can clear your History file completely, or adjust the number of days pages are stored. Click "Apply" and "OK" when you are finished. That's it!
