Enterprise Sales Representataive
Omaha, Nebraska

We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to join our growing sales team.

Duties include:
- Prospecting, presenting, and closing the sale of network services with mid to large enterprises and other communications firms
- Negotiating contracts with customers and partners
- Working with Project Management and Billing teams to ensure the post-sale implementation occurs effectively
- Ensuring the customer is satisfied
- Developing a sales forecast and expense budget necessary to support sales efforts
- Meeting or exceeding sales quota as determined by management
- Providing reports and information on a regular basis

Successful candidate must have strong public relations skills, time management skills, and written and verbal communications skills. Must also possess the ability to think strategically and to work effectively with a diverse group of co-workers and customers. Experience selling at a C-level is preferred. A working understanding of telephony including Internet, managed Ethernet, traditional voice, and SIP trucks is desired. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5 or more years of sales experience in the telecommunications field is desired.

This position works out of our Omaha office with some occasional meetings at our Blair headquarters. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel approximately 10% of each month.

Sr. Account Executive - Wholesale

Duties include:
- Targeting service provider and carrier wholesale customers using C-level sales experience
- Performing all activities for the sale of network data services and additional products as driven by the Wholesale customer base
- Displaying knowledge of all of product areas
- Building, maintaining, and coordinating company relationship with prospects and customers
- Maintaining a database of targeted customers and their needs and time frames for potential new business opportunities
- Serving as a liaison between customer and engineering department for all technical resources needed to assess customer requirements and design network solutions for particular customer needs
- Meeting or exceeding assigned monthly quota and working toward established sales goals and objectives
- Cold calling prospects, arranging meetings, preparing and delivering customer presentations both face-to-face and over the phone, writing proposals, submitting quotes, and negotiating contracts with customers and partners
- Working closely with management to determine, develop, and grow this sales channel by targeting specific customers
- Organizing sales and marketing efforts to find new business
- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of company fiber network to be effective in answering customers' questions and selling services
- Working with Project Management to ensure that post-sale implementation occurs effectively, and that the customer is satisfied in all respects at all times with the services purchased
- Working with management to develop a sales forecast and the expense budget necessary to support the sales efforts
- Providing reports and information on a regular basis

Bachelor's degree plus 10 years telecommunications sales experience is preferred.

Staff Accountant
Blair, Nebraska

Duties include:
- Managing the records and support for the LB312 tax credit program
- Managing the preparation of select tax and compliance filings
- Preparing and filing the Nebraska Public Service Commission Entity Report and Form 43
- Preparing tax reports for property tax filings
- Creating record units as requested
- Maintaining capital expenditure reporting
- Preparing and distributing monthly capital budget report
- Preparing general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent, plus 1 to 2 years of experience is desired. Property accounting and/or tax experience preferred. Successful candidate must have knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, asset capitalization rules, and state and local tax returns preparation. Must also possess strong computer skills including experience with Excel, written and verbal communication skills, and excellent customer relations skills.

Broadband Technician
Various Work Locations in Nebraska

We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to fill the position of Broadband Technician in Scribner, Nebraska.

One to three years telephone and internet installation and maintenance experience desired. Telecommunications or electronics degree preferred. Must have knowledge of basic electronics, cable color code, test equipment, computers, key systems, and DSL modems. Successful candidates must also have the ability to interpret staking sheets, maps, work orders, and cable counts, and splice cable and fiber as needed. Experience with construction equipment and tools, including trenchers and backhoes, is a plus. Excellent communication and customer relation skills are a must. Must possess a valid driver's license, CDL license preferred, and the ability to dig ditches, climb ladders and poles, and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Construction Laborers
Travel Required

Great Plains Underground Construction, based in Creighton, Nebraska, is looking for laborers to install communication and utility infrastructures.

Must be able to operate construction equipment and tools, including trenchers, backhoes, skid loaders, tractors, and trucks. Must also be able to dig and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Valid driver's license is a must. Extra compensation provided to CDL-licensed employees. Various work hours and weekly travel required.

This position usually meets in Creighton, Nebraska on Monday mornings, travels to jobsites in various locations and returns to Creighton on Friday afternoon/evening. Employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Creighton or the job site (whichever is closer and easier for you). Employees are often out of town 4 nights a week.

Overnight travel expenses and meals paid. Excellent benefits package available. EOE.
