Taken from our exclusive customer newsletter:
To start using FaceTime you need to do a few things. First and foremost you need to enable FaceTime on your Apple Device. To do this you’ll need to go to;
- Slide the “FaceTime” toggle to the right so it is enabled.
Now that you have enabled FaceTime it’s time to start using it! The app works when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, so before you make your call, make sure you’re connected.
Once you’re connected; there are three ways to make a FaceTime call on your phone:
- To FaceTime using Contacts: Select the person you want to FaceTime under your “Contacts,” then tap the FaceTime icon at the bottom- right corner.
- When you’re using your phone: Tap the FaceTime icon during a call to invite the other person to a FaceTime call. Note: This step would not apply if you were using an iPad.
- If you’re using your text messaging someone: Tap the FaceTime icon at the top while viewing messages to place a FaceTime call.
FaceTime is a very simple, yet helpful tool that allows you to keep in touch with family and friends in a way like never before. A small learning curve to conquer to be able to get that face time every family member loves.
