Have you tried out the Great Plains Communications email portal, also known as “your local connection”?
First launched in 2008, the portal aims to provide a highly customizable experience to our customers that also provides them fast access to the Great Plains Communications’ services they use the most. When you sign-in to the site with your gpcom.net email address and password, you will be able to select your local area for weather, choose what stocks you would like to follow and even move the news widgets around to reflect your personal preference. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll also be able to access your gpcom.net email account from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.
On the right side of your portal homepage, you will also find quick links to several of our services including eBill, our online bill pay system. You can also access The Great Plains Communications’ website, the GPC-TV website, our “bundle finder” where you can discover how much you can save by bundling, and our social media channels (including the blog).
Perhaps the biggest difference between other news site style pages and our portal is that you can receive news from all over the state of Nebraska, not just from the “Big 3” cities (Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island). News is provided by several Nebraska newspapers including the McCook Gazette, The Kearney Hub, The Yankton Press Dakotan and the Sioux City Journal.
